This eco-friendly Lodge is located on the edge of Algonquin Park, on a private 30-acre lake. This extremely secluded spot combines the rustic charm of a wilderness lodge with the comforts of modern living. The experience starts with a short 20-minute hike to the property. The Eco-Lodge offers 17 private rooms and is powered by alternative energy, including an outdoor wood-fired hot tub and sauna. Hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding are just some of the activities available right from the front door or in the area. The Domain of Killien was once a private hunting and fishing lodge constructed in the 1920s. The property now offers twelve guest rooms, five in the main lodge and seven in the lakeside chalets. The chalets features wood-burning fireplaces and the main lodge rooms have a Jacuzzi tub in each.

Due to it's remote location, ARO offers overnight accomodation. Guests enjoy exclusive tours of Canada's largest radio telescope, the 46m Thoth antenna. Reservations are required.
